Tips to ensure easy calibration

1. Always use a precise measuring container like a graduated bucket for accurate calibration.

2. Ensure the 5-gallon bucket is level and completely filled to the 5-gallon mark.

3. Contaminants or inconsistent flow can affect calibration accuracy; use clean, filtered fuel.

Step 1: Prepare for Calibration

1. Setup:

- Place a clean, empty 5-gallon bucket under the fuel dispenser.

- Ensure the fluid to be measured (diesel or gasoline) flows freely and is contaminant-free.

2. Baseline Check:

- Reset the meter to 0 by pressing the "CALIBRATE" button for 1 second.

- Begin dispensing exactly 5 gallons of fluid into the bucket, using a separate accurate measuring device Step 2: Record Meter Reading

1. Stop Dispensing:

- Stop the flow of fuel as soon as the bucket is filled with exactly 5 gallons.

2. Note the Meter Reading:

- Check the meter's display.

- Example: Meter shows 5.15 gallons (actual volume dispensed is 5 gallons)

Step 3: Calculate the Correction Factor

1. Use the Formula:

- Correction Factor = Displayed Volume ÷ Actual Volume.

- Example: 5.15 (Displayed Volume) ÷ 5.00 (Actual Volume) = 1.0300.

2. This Correction Factor (1.0300) will adjust the meter to match the true volume.

Step 4: Enter the Correction Factor

1. Access Calibration Mode:

- Press and hold the "DISPLAY" button for 3 seconds.

- While holding the "DISPLAY" button, press "CALIBRATE" to enter the adjustment mode.

2. Enter the Correction Factor:

- Use the "CALIBRATE" button to navigate to each digit of the correction factor (e.g., 1._ _ _ _).

- Use the "DISPLAY" button to enter the value of the highlighted digit to match the correction factor calculated in step 3.

3. Save Changes:

- Once the correction factor is entered, the meter will automatically save the value and return to the home after 5 seconds.

Step 5: Ensure accuracy

1. Retest:

- Reset the meter to 0 and dispense another 5 gallons into the bucket.

- Check the meter reading.

2. Expected Result:

-The meter should now display 5 gallons. Minor fluctuations in meter reading are normal due to slight variations in the container's fill level.

3. Repeat Adjustment (if necessary):

- If there's still a discrepancy, repeat the calibration process.
